But he got away with it and the company only had to settle for 25000 which wouldn't have covered our funeral expenses had we died. (There were four of us). I really think there needs to be some stricter laws and more penalties. The truck driver only had to pay $1000 for DUI. It is sickening. He could have killed us all. I hope Judges, Attorney, Politicians, etc etc...change the laws. |

| 1169 | angel swaim | i think drunk drivers should get it to the fullest. they have no right to take a life and walk. and if they have had a history of driving drunk they shouldnt be let go at all. they have learned no lesson. i was almost hit buy a drunk driver on night. we stopped at a friends house and called 911. when we drove back through the cops were lineing the beer bottles up on the top of his car. god spared my life and my childrens. he hit a light pol instead. its so easy to take a life away like that. and usually the drunk gets to live. i say take away there life buy putting them behind bars for the rest of it. thats still not enuff but at least they will not be able to harm again. |

| 1173 | Dan Shell | My sister was killed by a drunk driver three weeks ago. We are on the beginning end of no justice. Trying to get these people to do something is like trying to turn water into wine. The whole chain of people are worthless. I hope that your family gets justice sooner than later. I will be praying for this and I will pass your story around to others. If we outrage enough people we might see some change.
