The petition

A letter was recently drafted that is addressed to Governor Marajulldin Pathan of the Ghazni province in Afghanistan. The letter entitled "Concerned Citizens for Korean Hostages in Afghanistan" has been successful in reaching people with access to the Taliban's spokesmen. This letter is sending a message, and it will be heard.

The Afghanistan World Foundation and the Muslim Policy Affairs Council have both endorsed the letter, and it was featured in the Los Angeles Times as "New Appeal to Free Hostages".

We are asking on a person-to-person basis, and so we are appealing only to their morality and their honor which are key values in Islamic teachings and traditions

Please visit www.koreanamericansneeded.com to view a copy of the letter entitled, "Concerned Citizens for Korean Hostages in Afghanistan Letter".

If this is something that you believe could make a difference, then please sign this petition and pass it along to friends and family. Every additional signature we receive will increasingly stress the importance of the urgent and peaceful release of the South Korean hostages in Afghanistan.

Thank You.
