We, the undersigned, ask that John O'Donoghue consider the position of Ceann Comhairle and resign from the office of Ceann Comhairle immediately. Not alone is he damaging the position that this office holds by remaining in office, but his continued lavish expense lifestyle, which he has continued after his Ministerial positions, makes his position untenable. I hope to forward this Petition to Brian Cowen, Enda Kenny, Eamon Gilmore, John Gormley & Caoimhghin O Caolain before their Oireactas meeting in the event that John O'Donoghue has not resigned beforehand I have also set up a Facebook group - http://www.facebook.com/group.phpgid=146748563594&ref=mf#

I am just a normal Irish Taxpayer who has read the revelations by Ken Foxe in the Sunday Tribune and Gavin Sheridan's blog - gavinsblog. I have had enough of Fianna Fail politicians and their squandering of the Irish Taxpayers money to fund a lifestyle akin to that of a member of the Dubai Royal Family.
