shawn maxfield | this is so sad i heard it this morning on the news in florida.i know the father did a crime but its the little girls last wish to see her daddy,i have 3 children and i wouldnt care i would trade the rest of my lifes freedom to grant any of there wishes in a case like that, hes not in for capital murder its a drug charge, give the little girl her last wish, once she is gone no one can change there mind,at this point Jayci is holding on to see her daddy let hem see her so her suffering and pain can be over please dont make her suffer any longer, i will sit in jail in his place, this is just so upsetting i will keep up to date on this story, and say s special prayer for Jayci and her family,i wish them all the best
Joyce Molette | This little girl should see your father before she dies with the guard escort or what ever may need to be done. He is almost done anyway. I think that is very harsh and rude if she does not get to see her father.

Lisa | This is a sad situation. This is not about a man who took a wrong path, it's about a little girl that is dying. This young girl deserves to see her daddy one last time. I pray she is granted her wish.

kamila brown | I think this little girl should be able to see her father. The government is so fucked up it is sad

jennifer Holbrook | I beleive that it should happen and that there is a way to make it happen and we should see that it does happen for that girl to have a peace of mind and if it doesn't that is wrong.

Anonymous | Don't punish the child for the father's crimes.
Elise Perelman |
Paula Grieb | Please give him a furlough for Jaci.
joshua bastian | if only our society had more compassion to do the right thing, even if it is difficult.
Amanda Ashburn | It is a very sad story, im sure its very frustrating for everyone involved. I just pray that if the courts deny her wish and make him finish out his sentence, then maybe that little girl will wait till he gets out. It already seems as she is holding on so she can have both of her parents with her during her passing.
Dan Amkraut | This system seems to be utterly clueless as to what is important in life. Please let him see his daughter.

Anonymous | I met Jayci once at a benefit for her when she was very young. Don't punish a dying child for the sins of the father.
Deborah Walsh | Please act soon! Please!

Angela LaPointe | people do stupid things, my heart breaks for the family, she needs to be able to go in peace, say goodbye to her daddy, and even though he has committed a crime, i think he should be able to say goodbye to his baby.
Anonymous | Please look past this mans crime and think of the daughter, a kind gesture might make all the difference in everyones world. Maybe you could exchange him to speak to kids about drugs for this one last trip???? What would be more effective his testimony and time or just his time??
tasha sparks | please give this child the one wish we all want when we know we have no time left the love of our parents a hand and a loving voice to tell you its ok

Scott Hollibaugh | Please let that courageous little girl see her father. It'd be monstrous and inhumane to take the rules that serious. This is about humanity and doing what is morally right.

Anonymous | This little girl is asking to see her dad one last time. She is hanging on until she gets to see her dad. She is in pain and is suffering. Please grant her this wish so she can go be with God and the other little angels.

Delfs Linder | I pray for this little girl and I can't think of a really good reason that the warden can't get the father to see his daughter before she dies. I think it is a terrible thing to do to a person by keeping Jayci from seeing her father. *****Delfs in Mesa AZ*****
Ken Howell | I feel that the prison should see to it that Jayci's last request, to see her father one last time ,should be carried out. Not for her father, but for her.
Anonymous | My children are friends of Jayci. We pray that God will guide everyone involved so Jayci can find the peace and love she deserves.
Erin Martin | i pray for you Jayci
| 50 | Kerry Studdard | To my understanding, Jayci's father has had three previous "supervised" visits to see her, two of those visits within the last month. Since Jayci's situation has worsened, and her father's position has "not" changed, one visit (possibly the last) would only help everyone, "NOT" cause problems. Technically, the father would "still" be serving his sentence, just not within the prison's walls, so, it appears the decision is up to the descretion of Yankton Fed Prison, not anyone else. The visit is fundamentally no different than work furlougs. My thoughts are prayers are with the Yaeger family "and" the person(s) who have the power to make a decision.
Thank You,
Kerry Studdard, Birmingham, Alabama |
