| 2001 | Debra Maisonneuve | This would be a good opportunity for Canada to honour their promise of reconciliation with the Indeginous of this country. How about allowing us to do the work we believe Creator has asigned to us. it truly is to benefit all. With all main stream has brought good and bad, it saddenes me to continuously see and hear broken promises from our governemnt. The Legacy of Residential School for instance, brought to the forfront then swept under the carpet. I have tried to reach the Prime Minister as I have listened to our Survivors for nine months, 5 to 6 days a week 8 to 12 hours a day tell their stories. Services offered to them are unbelievably lacking especially to those in isolated communities. Whole communitities in isolated areas have been thrown into an alarming state of termoil. People are taking their own lives. Their is a deep sense of panic out there. We can see Cnanda is a Multicultural Canada and we have no issue with that. If reconciliation with the indiginous is a goal of the mending of the Legacy brought upon our people perhaps Cnanada can start by stopping this thievery and allowing us to maintain the land. It is our duty here on earth. How can Canada expect reconciliation with the indegenous when this continues to occur. Perhaps you can help the government with this understanding as they do not listened and have not listened to us. The government claims one thing to the people who dwell here and present one way to the people and underhandedly functions another. This is not our way. I have crossed many paths of people who say "our home on native land". Thank you |
| 2002 | Wesley Sweeney | The site I frequent daily, Globalresearch.ca, featured the article titled "Stealing the Indigenous area of Northern Great Turtle Island", written by Kahentinetha, which drew me to this website. I support the resistance by the indigenous people against capitalist exploitation of their lands. |

| 2016 | Carolyn R. Dodge | Those that choose to infringe upon the lands of the INDIGENOUS people will be dealt with by the natural law. It is only these people who have the DNA and ancestry to create medicines from the earth which is a respectful process. The white man cannot simulate something this pure, this connected to that of which they have never and may never understand. It is only us who have the ability to restore health to the lands. Disrespect us, and you disrespect the future of your people and will suffer as you watch the illnesses increase against your bodies. We make medicines that fuse us to the eco systems, what have you got to help you survive through your own selfishness? |

| 2020 | Tibi Kibe Mohapi | Along with all indigenous peoples of Southern Africa including the Basotho, I stand up and claim my indigenous rights from a post colonial world and wish to eradicate racism and sexism in all possible ways available to me. I support the notion that governments should give back land to its first people (in South Africa - the Khoe an dSan peoples) and ultimately to all its frist peoples including us, the Basotho. |
