Dear Iraqi government officials,
Through long times Iraqis were almost always on their own when they leave their country, no one stand by them and no one give them a helping hand while they are abroad and away from home.
That what we hope will end by your help in standing with the Iraqis who are away from home and now living in Jordan for many reasons, and different from person to person.
During the tragic events that happened last week in Jordan and the innocent civilian who pay the price of the extremist mentality.
Something more tragic came out of this tragic event, Iraqis are now though of as suspects and disrespected more than ever just because those who are responsible about the tragic events were allegedly Iraqis. Now lets take a step back and look at the short term history and remember what happened on February 28 2005, when a Jordanian Suicide bomber was allegedly “celebrated as a hero” in his home town after he killed more than a 100 people In Hilla south of Baghdad.
Iraqis protested the news but they did not move to blame Jordanian for all this.
What we ask you is to please take on your duties seriously and start educating people about the true Iraqi spirit and determination, and lend a hand of help to those people of Iraq who choose to be outside for many reasons. Stand with them and demand better treatment and conditions for them.
Iraqis have been victims for long time, I can go through every year and find many ways that Iraqis were victimized, and right now they are accused of something that they never did and will never accept, because they are the ones who have been burned by it for long time. They are accused of standing with acts that hurt the everyday man, an act of cowards who attack the civilians to send a message. Iraqis were never cowards and will never be. And the few alleged responsible about the attack did not do it because of there Nationality, they did it because they are following an extremism path that they have been executing inside Iraq for a long time.
We ask you to stand by the Iraqi people in Jordan and make sure their well being and safety,
Thank you |
