Sally RubioI have been forced to live with other people to support my son in prison. In paying for these phone calls to keep in touch, I am using a third of my income every month.

Cheryl NiemoPlease support immediate action to elliminate the exploitation of inmates and their families. I have a child in prison and know first hand the burden the high prices of phone calls families must deal with i order to maintain support of their inarrcerated loved ones. Successful reintegration depends on the access of support from loved ones. Swift action to rectify the current phone system robbery is the vey least we can hope for in terms of reducing financial hardship and supporting family attachment. Please act on our behalf. Sincerely, Chery

Constance LeiningerFamilies of incarcerated people are often suffering already from the absence of the person who has gone to prison. They are missing their financial contribution and emotional support. Why should these families have a greater hardship as they try to maintain connections and give support to their loved ones?
AnonymousPlease consider passing a bill. Our state is in great need of rehabilitating inmates and lowering the inmate population. Keeping them in touch with their families means so very much and does help to give that person the encouragement that is necessary for recovery and release into the general public.

john nelsonThis is wrong, how can some families talk to each other with phone calls being expensive? Please stop doing this kickback program to bring in .more cost effective and competitive agreements

AnonymousI feel as if I am the one being punished for trying to provide the love and support an inmate needs to have a chance at rehabilitation.
chris ti have to prepay the cost is more then if i was billed....i always paid my bill but got a different number and now have to prepay ....

lora bradfordThese costs are outrageous and I think the IDOC needs to find a different way of getting money than from friends and family of inmates.
Sherrin FitzerStop the kickbacks. Let prisoners talk to their families for a reasonable rate.

Adam SteinPlease stop the high cost of our loved ones calling home. I encourage everyone to NOT trust the Conscallhome.com website. Ripoff.
AnonymousI think we should be able to pay for a regular phone card for inmates so they get a descent rate and we could afford to talk to them more often. Someone is making a huge profit!!!!

John ParisMy wife is in Lincoln and the calls are killing me.
Mark E. RasmussenI want to do all in my power to help these situations.
Lori LambertThe fees are ridiculous. Family members should not be punished for trying to maintain contact with their incarcerated loved ones. We are paying the price of just trying to be supportive. $10 for 29 minutes? Get serious. It is a really stressful situation for single parents who are only trying to make sure the children get to talk to their mothers or fathers. Apparently the person who decided this is a fair and just amout has no loved ones incarcerated.
