Are you tired of turning on the evening news to stay informed and instead of receiving facts you find that every story is slanted toward sensational effect, especially stories concerning President Bush and the war. These so-called journalist even include in their so-called stories the expected fall out from the controversies they themselves are creating. I've had enough, have you? I hope this petition will send a message to the media in this country; and will cause viewers to think twice about TV reporting and its value or lack there of. |

I am simply a person who has become steadily more disgusted with broadcast news since President Reagan. Reporters have become less and less respectful of our leaders. I'm not saying that political news should be investigated with kid gloves I'm just saying the function of the media is to inform the public of the facts not make the news themselves. |
