This petition is to have the B.C. goverment remove ICBC as the only insurance provider in the province for auto insurance.
To allow fair and competitive business to compete for the good drivers of this province so they are not unfairly penalized. Good drivers in this province pay to make up the difference for bad drivers under the ICBC insurance pool. Drawing from your money to pay for their mistakes.
Let ICBC compete on an even playing field with private industry insurance and you will clearly see they will lose. Private industry can offer the same (ACTUALLY BETTER) coverage at a much cheaper rate for those drivers who deserve it.
ICBC does not allow private sector companies to compete due to the fact they know they would lose all their good drivers and that just bad drivers would turn to them.
A good driver has nothing to fear. Bad drivers are the reason the premiums are so high in this province and that everyone is forced to pay for their bad driving habits.
We need to have this system removed and be able to have a competitive system in place.
Not one that is raping money from those who have done nothing wrong. |

My name is Anthony Norris.
Just a regular guy trying to make a difference in this matter.
I don't believe this to be a fair system for the drivers of B.C.
YOU should not have to pay for others mistakes.
Be responsible and help remove this unfair system or at least make it compete against private sector.
Thanks for visiting and drive safe.
