Anonymous | Yes I agree there needs to be more people on staff to keep up with the busy times.

Andrew Nathanson | the opening hours are absurd considering parcels are delivered after people have gone to work, and then only collectable while we are still there.
john Jeffery | it would be a disgrace to close the sorting ofice,

Jackie | Staff are miserable, and queues are too long on saturdays. Royal mail technology is antiquated.

Anonymous | I agree the opening times are too restricted. This is just another reason to privatize the post office. I don't mind paying more for next day or for long distance UK mail. For the elderly in rural locations they should have Government subsidies, which would cost less than the money used annually by the Royal Mail. We need to cut out the trade unions - who has trade unions these days!? come on..this is 2007 not 1967! It's a right Royal cock up! At least let there be a private alternative to run alongside the Royal Mail?

Mark | I think its ridiculous that the post office closes at lunchtime.

David Ball | Open between 6pm and 8pm would be fantastic.
Beth | Sort it out! No pun intended!
| 69 | James Lever | It would be good if they opened earlier, the redelivery option is okay as long as you do it online, its almost impossible to get their phone number and then you get a 45 second announcement only to get an engaged tone -
if anyone's interested the direct phone number is 0845 6112637.
it would be usefull if they had some system where you didn't have to queue for 10's of minutes. |
Dr Joanne Greenwood | Long queues - waiting in the cold and wet - inconvenient - what kind of service is this? You could at least have a couple of evening/later opening times surely?
Anonymous | 0730 to 1330. Riduculous opening hours. I tried to phone between 1256 and 1330 and nobody answered at all!

Anonymous | It's ridiculous in this day and age that we are not able to pick up our parcels when we are able to, the days of working short hours, or local have long gone and I value my precious days off better than to be waiting for over an hour while one person takes their time to get a letter or a person

Garrett Courtney | i leave hove at 6.45 am and do not return until 5.45pm,,would be great to have the collection office open even until 6.30pm one or two evenings a week.

A Myles | The desk staff are extremely rude and unhelpful, and I would like to see the opening hours extended and also better customer service and training for staff.
