However, I have accepted that this may happen. Houston, come on, save this team~! Isn't there someone in the 4th largest city in the U.S willing to purchase this team? I'm sure there are a lot of rich folks in Houston that has the funds. However, they aren't willing to spend it unless it's involves a man sport. This is so sad, my heart aches just thinking about not having a WNBA team.
I love this team, I love the WNBA, I will be there with this team until the end.

| 163 | Amanda Goad | I was in college in Houston during the Comets' first few seasons, so they were my first WNBA team. Going to games was a fun, cheap way to spend an evening out -- with friends, with a date, or on one occasion with my University mentor.
Over the years I've moved a lot and had many other favorite teams, but the Comets will always hold a special place in my heart and in the history of the league. Don't give up on them! Future generations of Houstonians, particularly young women, can gain so much from becoming WNBA fans (serious or casual), and if it's marketed and run right the team can be a profitable business venture too. |

The Astros and the Rockets has flubbed championships before...The Comets brought 4 in a row to the city! And how many years was it before the Texans won more than one game here or there? BUT, all of them are on the front pages, time is spent with them on all news broadcasts on all channels. The Texans even have their own time slot on one of the stations.
