What really did it for me was one day a couple months ago I heard it reported on TV that Danny Glover (an actor who's work I've always enjoyed) said while in (I believe) South America "President Bush is a racist". I couldn't believe my ears. First where does he get off saying something like that when you look at the complexion of the President's inner circle. Secondly, what makes anything that he would say so important that it was worth being reported by the press. I'm fed up with the bunch of them and I'm not watching the Academy Awards tonight. I was hoping that the whole thing would have been pre-empted because of the war. It would have been sweet revenge for all their trouble. |
