| 301 | Shane P.Andrus | No one should tear down statues which represent major events in American history because a few people were offended. |
| 302 | Heather | |
| 303 | Travis | Why is everyone wanting to get rid of all things that may be considered politically incorrect, even though it is the history of our country? What's next? Not teaching about slavery because it offends someone? |

| 306 | Hollis Brown | You douchbags! Don't tear down the statues our great leaders just because you don't have any. |

| 310 | Anonymous | Heritage such as this should not be removed in order to please a minority. |
| 311 | Randy Kuiper | History is not a crime. |
| 312 | Mr H Holley | The heritage of a nation is a treasure which cannot be replaced. The Civil War was obviously very significant for the evolution of America and a nation which becomes ignorant of its history looses touch with itself and drifts in a materialistic wasteland. |
| 313 | William | This is a part of our Nations Heritage wheather or not you agree with it. |
| 314 | Wes | This is a part of American History and culture. This is not something that can be pruned away like a pesky limb on a tree. Save American Heritage for the future of Americans and our children. |
| 315 | Patrick Senn | Robert E Lee made great contributions in the field of education, and therefore it is only fitting that he be memorialized by college campuses. Regardless of his political views, all people should remember him for the good that he did. |

| 318 | Peter Gurry | Once again political correctness is robbing our folk of their true heritage |
| 319 | Anonymous | Historical and artisitic items should not be under threat for political reasons. What next, book burnings? |

| 322 | Joan Ames | It is morally wrong to remove memorials/statues of honoured soldiers whatever cause they fought for, whether that cause is now deemed right or wrong. I detest political correctness. |
| 323 | Steven Belshaw | How can History and Heritage be destroyed, this is an example of blatant fascism by a minority who would wish to destroy our history |
| 324 | Darryl Metzger | What is the big deal!
American History is American history. What is going to be next ...the Alamo? Statue of Liberty?Pearl Harbor? |
| 325 | Anonymous | History and Heritage should not be forgotten! |
| 326 | Vinterwulf Odinsson | Absolutly stupid plan. |
| 327 | Chris Grimes | We must put a stop to revisionism, and overtly PC action. Our countries herritage and history should not be changed becuase some one can not handle history. LEAVE THE STATUE ALONE! |

| 329 | John Paul Turnbull | I have always believed that you should remember all parts of your nations past, the good aspects aswell as the bad aspects. I am British, but I will always salute people who have worked very hard in their chosen field and end up with some kind of recognition.
I will salute the brave German soldiers, aswell as the actions of my own countrymen in both world wars. I salute the Americans aswell as the British in the War of Independence, I salute the men of both the Yankees and the Confederates in the American Civil War. To think that somebody, somewhere, wishes to dishonour the memory of people who can no longer speak out for themselves, is stunning! All great men and women throughout history, both allies and enemies should be given the respect that they deserve, especially within their own country!
Yours Sincerely
John Turnbull |
| 330 | Anonymous | the NAACP's complaints truly peak my curiosity...Is it because blacks aren't included? Or is it possibly that they believe that the South fought the Civil War just to protect slavery rights. By no means are we even trying to offend the African American race, we are merely trying preserve what little bits of our history are still standing. If they choose to complain, why aren't they complaining about something that truly matters! As of right now it appears as a petty, ridiculous, joke. I love all colors in the rainbow, but just for future reference there is no such thing as white or black and if we're still hung up on skin colors then we need to have a reality check |

| 332 | Joshua Paul Thompson | it is time these dummys stop telling us our heritage is wrong and we shouldnt have the flags or statues it is crazy and needs to stop i think it has gone to far so we need to stand up for what we believe in i know i will i will fly the stars and bars flag and keep my pictures and bumper stickers up no one will tell me i cant do these things if u agree please sign this petition im from alabama but i will support this cause. |

| 334 | Ian Stewart | keep em |
| 335 | Taylor Griffin | save the heritage of the south, and don't let it be gone with the wind. The NAACP needs to realize that it's not hate towards them but a heritage of the way of life and civilization of the south, no hate towards them. How would they feel if we took away Martin Luther King JR. day? I know they would probably throw a huge race card fit like they always do. Lee was not only considered great by the people of the south but by men around the world. |

| 345 | Mitchell Ingram | Removing those statues is attempting to remove a part of southern heritage, it is time someone stands up to the NAACP. People are not offended by the statues and if they are well then I am sorry. The right to not be offended is not listed in the constitution. |
