1105 Michael CaranoThe United States has slid down the slippery slope where the civil liberties and the rule of law have no meaning. The system in place that keeps Fahad imprisoned must be ended, The change promised will not begin to happen until the basic foundations of our society are put back in place and constantly watched over by those who believe in basic democratic principles and human rights. The dismantling of this false system of justice must happen now, and Fahad must be freed immediately.

1107 Roxanne CohenI am a Canadian, and therefore not a United States Citizen, but am avidly for this campaign and would much like to be a signatory. I wish you all the luck

1109 LoisThis is appalling. It does NOT represent the America in which I grew up.

1112 Tina Kolb DiazPray that Fahad is given the strength he needs to come out of this whole again. Peace be upon all who support this courageous AMERICAN whose only crime was to exercise his First Amendment right. Do any of our elected leaders even acknowledge that our Constitution exists? Never stop fighting for justice, my friends. Never.

1134 Roelof Alexander BijkerkIt should not be legal or allowed that a person could be treated this way.
1135 Rae Anne L LafrenzI live and work in Colombia, South America and maintain close vigil on the actions of my government abroad and at home. I send my best to the family of Fahad and, to Fahad directly, a big hug of solidarity. I promise to follow this case.

1137 deena ouellettewhat our government has done to muslims is outrageous. We treat all muslims as though tey were terrorists, when in fact we are acting as terrorists.

1142 TanvirI hope Fahad is set free, and the mistake done by Bush administration is corrected. I believe in US and I do not think any country is as good on this planet in protecting the civil rights. I have never seen bias at job or at the borders. And it shakes me badly that some one is so unlucky that he has become victim to this. It is testing time for Fahad, and his family and to all the community as well as America. I hope America will get these things right under Obama.

1149 Matthew KreshaEqual treatment under the law is part of what makes this country great. Either the laws are used and applied equally or we are slipping towards despotism. Are we not all innocent until proven guilty or does that only apply to christian non arabs?
