7	Debbie	Stifter	Of course, Ringo is a vital part of Beatle history, but the part in Hamburg should have Pete Best, who also was very vital, especially to the early days, that got the Beatles to where they were. Pete deserves to be part of that statue, Ringo was not part of those early struggling days and to have Stu, who fittingly was included and not Pete would be a horrible mistake. Give Pete his due, he earned it. We all love Ringo, but if you know the full story, you love Pete too.

Pete Best was the drummer when all their hard work, sweat and blood and many hours were put into making The Beatles sound what it is today. Pete Best is and will always be an original Beatle and a part of The Beatles history.
