H.R. 93, the Labor Relations First Contract Act of 2002, is being introduced to require the arbitration of initial contract negotiation disputes by amending 29 U.S.C. 158. The legislation will result in the settling of first contracts within 90 days of impasse. The origional intent of the NLRA was to ease labor strife. This is a further step in that direction. Please support H.R. 93. |
