To get more great and varied businesses on 53rd street to serve our community, we need more people to live near the retail. This Petition is requesting that a mid-rise building be built on the McDonald's and Mobile site on 53rd street with reasonable parking requirements per unit. (The McDonalds and mobile brought lots of customers to this location, we want this location to continue to serve the community.)?

Benefits of a mid-rise at this location are:

* More property taxes collected will help our local schools!
* More people living on 53rd street will make it safer
* More people to shop on 53rd street
* Building mid-rise requires elevators making the whole building Handicap accessible!
