| 652 | Doelia Martinez | I grew up in the heights. My parents owned Rubens Barber and Beauty Shop, around the corner from the Doles. My parents where friends of the Doles. My mother had lunch with them times. It is so sad to see such good memories taken away |

| 654 | Anonymous | With every notification that another historic area is being taken over, my distaste for developers and those who buy from them strengthens. I think we can all work together to find use for our older structures so we can in turn preserve our community heritage. |

| 661 | Jennifer Towery | It is a shame that our history in Houston is being replaced by high price "apartments" called condos just to make them sound better and monster houses that over shadow the wounderful cottages that remain. Sahme on our govermant for allowing this distruction of history and making our already over crowded city seem even more overcrowded! |

| 663 | Sharon Burleson Sommer | I am a Houston native and a five generation Texan. Our city's historic neighborhoods and buildings need to be preserved. We can't move forward to better Houston if we can't even preserve what was best about Houston. |

| 675 | bart | Houston is such a new city ...we should try to
keep all the history we can !
our children's children will appreciate it ! |

| 678 | John LaGroue | What value do we demostrate when we tell our children that our history is important while we destroy that very history. |

| 681 | Theresa Smith | We have enough new condos and townhomes. Help save our traditional neighborhoods |
| 682 | Fred Sedgwick | We need protection above and beyond just subdivinding the lots. |
| 683 | Anonymous | Do I need to file one of these seperately to protect my neighborhood, (Block 175 in Central Park, three miles east of Downtown Houston)? |

| 685 | Shawn Gallagher | I recently moved to the Houston Heights because I liked the neighborhood character and lack of condo complexes such as these. Don't let developers destroy the character of yet another neighborhood. |

| 690 | Debra Bach | We recently worked to have the prevailing lot size ordinance past for our street. I am more than disappointed by these inappropriate neighborhood developments. The term doesn't seem strong enough to cover the impact...My hope is that the city will step in and do what is right. Shame on them for letting it get this far. And shame on the developers for taking advantage of the situation. I hope the money they will make destroying our neighborhoods will help them sleep better at night. |

| 695 | Rachel Walden | Please STOP the destruction of the Houston Heights neighborhoods and work to preserve our historic buildings and homes!
Condos/Townhomes are wrecking the landscape of our beloved Historic Houston. |
| 696 | Imelda Cardenas | Old homes & businesses should remain erect and in tact (providing that they are not an eye sore nor cause any health hazards). Generations to come should know how history was made. |
