The petition
It as come to our attention that the "Architectural Drafting Program" will be cut to half days next year. By doing this they will kill our program. Teachers cant suvive on half salary, students here on workers comp. or any rehabilation/retraining progams will be cut because requirments demand full time status. High school students will lose because the programs taught there are a small percentage of what this class offers. We have H.S. students that have taking the programs at their school then came here and learned more in half a year then they did or couldve done in their entire H.S. education. The community loses because without this program there wont be any qualified drafters going into the fields that need them. Last year in competition a H.S. student took 1st place at regional and state then made 3rd place in nationals. This year we have 3 first year students going to state. One adult student that took 1st at regional, and two H.S. students that took 3rd in their competitions at regional. Please help us to save our class and our future by supporting this petition, please sign and if possible contact the school officials listed here to voice your concern. We can make a difference thats why it says "We the people... becuase we are the ones that make changes with numbers and justice on our side we will prevail and the community will reap the benifits.
