Phillip minkinsThis is totally unfair and inhumane.
AnonymousI strongly demand that you stop that rent increase. That increase would be a hardship for 2,200 clients in many diferrent ways , and detrimental to their health.

AnonymousI feel this need to be place before the community and client for discussion. It's unfair for the client fall the $690.00 per month income level. No one can live on $330.00 per month. It could possible lead to other than as far as roommates and possibly illegal activities to made up for more income.
Michale Jackson IIII feel this is more than an injustice to the clients of HASA. This is program set to assistance people with a terminal illness to have a secure and clean environment. To possibly live longer and a healthy life. To place this type of stress upon us/them is unhealthy and uncall for. It can lead to many unwarrant activities. (i.e. roommate, illegal activities, etc.) From the information I have recieved and read there is an injunction to halt that for the time being. Why is still continue. What can we as individuals and as a group to stop this actions. No one can live on $11 per day/$330 per month.

J. Edward ShawThis unfair policy would force many back to the streets. Beyond that even, the cost of re-housing an individual or families is mind boggling. The shelter system and the roach and rat infested SRO's will only lead to unwarranted hospitaizations, and needless criminal activity. The streets of NY would become a real asphalt jungle. Survival of the strongest.

MIKE.PTHIS RENT INCREASE,IS THE MOST RACIST FORM OF DISENFRANCHISING PEOPLE OF COLOR FROM HOUSING.ECONOMICS AND THEIR DIGNITY.I WOULD CHALLENGE ANY POLITICIAN TO GIVE UP THEIR LIFE STYLE AND WALK-THE-WALK THEY ARE IMPOSING ON PEOPLE A LOT LESS FINANCIALLY BLESS.SHAME,SHAME, SHAME ON AMERICA AGAIN.
Aneicia WashingtonThis is an inappropriate action taken against PLWHA in NYC. This is a tough town to survive in and this added financial burden is sure to drive people out into the streets!!!
AnonymousI Hope that 30% of our income should be people also living with HIV/AIDS who does not live in supportive housing be included in this new "BILL",as well.
