| 1 | Andrew | I'm the first contributor, as creator. I believe the McCanns are guilty of neglect, and quite possibly the disappearance of Madeleine McCann |
| 2 | Maggie | |
| 3 | Tony Bennett | There should be an organisation set up specifically to analyse the truth about the 'disappearance' of Madeleine McCann. Provisionally, I think it should be called 'Justice for Madeleine McCann'. I have just written a 400-page book about the death of Stuart Lubbock at Michael Barrymore's house, in which I proved that that was a case of a 'staged drowning'. This, I am sure, is a case of a 'staged abduction'. I will happily co-operate with others who want to keep all the contradictions of the various witnesses and the obvious lies and deceptions of the McCanns in the public eye. Tel: 01279 635789 |
| 4 | Mum2four | You may have money, you may have influential friends but justice will be seen to be done ,and decent people will never forget that you walked away and left your child in another country. Shame on you all. |

| 6 | Jo Ford | Search her GP surgery for when she last attended a death cerytification, thewn work oout she would have washed her clothes. You can smell death on clothes, she would have washed them fresh for holidays or is she just a dirty woman?? |

| 9 | trudy | no child should be left alone. |
| 10 | Kate D | The McCanns are of course responsible for the disappearance of madeleine -they left her and her baby siblings unattended night after night whilst they socialised with their friends. Are they guilt of her murder? I don't know -all I do know is that they have not shown one bit of remourse over their neglect of their children and are not acting like normal grieving parents - i think they know more than they are letting on. if they have nothing to hide why not answer all of the questions put to them by the PJ????? |
| 11 | Anonymous | too many loose ends - toomuch McCaans'spin - and why oh why " abduction ??...." were they present??? Who are "THEY (have taken her )" ?? and they were TWO ' her '......Amelie and Maddy ... why say 'her' to the tapas party and staff ??? Regards |
| 12 | Anonymous | Do these people think they're untouchable? Due to their narcassistic personalities they are not only making a mokery of every organization and persons they've touched but capitalized from day one in a way that best suits these two. Familiy services should take their remaining two children away. they're not fit to be parents. |
| 13 | Laura Williams | There are too many inconsistencies in their stories, and too much apparent forensic evidence linking them to the crime. If they are not murderers, they are certainly liars - and why lie if you are innocent? |

| 21 | maureen | this needs to be investigated fully considering so many conflicting statements alone from this couple.somethimg is so wrong with this case. |
| 22 | alex | |
| 23 | Sharon Francis | Fingers crossed that justice will prevail....
guilty of neglect and very possibly very much more IMO. |
| 24 | Anonymous | The McCanns should know better that leaving VERY YOUNG CHILDREN alone is WRONG and DANGEROUS. Because of this they should be arrested for neglect. I would also like to say I am disgusted at the British Media support and also Richard Branson for supporting child neglectors.
The McCanns know something, I just hope they confess. |
| 25 | Janice Ward | The McCanns are guilty of gross neglect of their children and so there for they are the reason Maddy is missing, feared dead by the hands of ? So yes they are the reason Maddy is gone and yes they are guilty. |
| 26 | Disgusted | Shocking the way the media have backed them without one word of criticism for leaving 3 babies alone while they went out on the lash |
| 27 | Cindy Whitehouse | |
| 28 | Margarida Santos | I think this couple should be under tight surveillance until the all case is solved, they are very manipulative and have strong supports from Government and rich people. I am affraid money will be their innocence and we will no longer believe in justice. |
| 29 | Anonymous | I canīt understand why they left the children alone. This makes them responsible for whatever has happened to Madeleine. |
| 30 | gemma | im not going to comment on wether the mccanns have anything to do with madelines dissaperance, but one thing i do know is that they are guilty of neglect!! NO MATTER HOW OLD UR CHILD IS, YOU SHOULD NEVER LEAVE THEM ALONE IN A FORIEGN COUNTRY |
| 31 | Anonymous | It seems that government intervention, money and so-called "PR" manipulation is affecting any objective investigation. The smear campaign against the Portuguese is shameful |
| 32 | Officer Dibble | The McCanns have lied about everything since day one. All the expensive lawyers and PR experts doesn't alter the fact that they are guilty of neglect and the evidence points far stronger towards their involvement than the non evidence for abduction |
| 33 | Noni Knight | Leaving young children unattended is a crime. The McCanns have lied and given conflicting evidence to the Police and yet they have got the support of the PM himself and other very influential people. This is unprecedented and unacceptable. We, the public, have been treated appallingly by the ruling classes. No matter what the reasons for the support given to the McCanns are, we, the public, have the right and the ability to know the actual facts. Anything less is a huge insult to the great British public. The Prime Minister surely knows that his position depends upon the votes of this public. If he has an ounce of decency in him he should demand, in his position of power, for the whole truth to be revealed regardless of the consequences. The outcry, well, it will eventually die down and he will be considered great and honourable. This whole very sorry affair concerns a human life too young to defend herself: that of little Madeleine McCann. Anything and anybody else are totally insignificant. |
| 34 | Anonymous | PORTUGUESE POLICE HAVE WRONGLY LOOKED NO FURTHER THAN PRAIA DA LUZ,SO I HAVE LITTLE CONFIDENCE IN THE WAY THEY HANDLED THIS CASE,THIS LITTLE GIRL DESERVED BETTER,THEY HAVE MADE THIS A TRIAL BY MEDIA,LEAKING SPECULATIVE INFORMATION TO THE PRESS AND MEDIA, AND NOT ALLOWING THE MCCANN'S A VOICE BY MAKING THEM SUSPECTS. NO ONE AGREES WITH WHAT THEY DID LEAVING THEIR CHILDREN,WHILE THEY WENT TO THE TAPAS BAR , BUT IT DOES'NT MEAN THEY KILLED MADELEINE. |
| 35 | Anonymous | Had they looked after their children and not felt it necessary to have meal and a drink out with friends they would have been looking after their children and perhaps all three would still be here today.
The thing is, and I am not as educated as Gerry or Kate, when you have children they are yours for life, not until its time to go out for a good drink and a meal - or - take them with you! |
| 36 | Anonymous | The McCanns have never said they were completely and utterly wrong to leave their children unattended every night of their holiday. They are trying to act as if is the norm, which it most certainly is not. |
| 37 | Angela Green | Guilty of neglect definitely, unbelievable that 2 doctors could consider leaving 3 under 4's alone whilst they go out socialising. |

| 40 | dave shuts | There is something very wrong in this case, & Gordon Brown & his cronies need to stop interfering & let the Police do their jobs unhindered. |
| 41 | natalie | I beleive this whole enquiry is a farce. It is ludicrous for anyone who has followed the McCanns turmoil to think that they had ANY input into her dissapearance. My family and I would not visit Portugal again after this. I hope the truth comes out soon for them. |
| 42 | deborah kennedy | ABSOLUTELY NOT. I BACK THE MCCANNS 100% |

| 44 | Anonymous | Yes, they are involved in this case.I pray for justice. |

| 46 | cindy harper | History shows us that parents are often responsible in such cases, and therefore a full investigation to eliminate them from police inquiries is required. When parents use PR and British law to hide from such an investigation it is morally wrong. When they are assisted by senior government officials, this shows a contempt for the electorate which is also morally wrong. |
| 47 | H Warren | I am absolutely disgusted by both of them. Leaving 3 children alone is a crime itself and they should be punished for it. I have no sympathy for them, the only one i feel for is the beautiful neglected little girl in the middle of it. She had no choice....they did!!! |
| 48 | Vicki Evans | I do not know if they have anything to do with her disappearnace as we do not know enough about the evidence gathered by the police forces from both Portugal and the UK. But they ARE GUILTY of wilful neglect and as such they MUST be accordingly charged, otherwise it makes a mockery of all current laws pertaining to child welfare and safety. |
| 49 | Ann-Marie | The McCanns behaved appallingly by leaving those three children alone, there is absolutely no valid excuse for doing so, and what they did amounts to child neglect, plain and simple.
I believe that there is a strong possibility that they were involved in her disappearance. |
| 50 | jane smithie | this is somewhat more useful than aunt phils petition, stating they are guilty.
at least you are only asking our opinions. |
