| 102 | Lillian Figueroa | socrmom10@optonline.net | I believe the Warwick H.S. is a bit harsh regarding this situation. I am not justifying what they did but I believe a good punishment for them is not going to their Senior Prom or Senior Trip and also some type of community service. I believe they should aleast graduate with their class and receive their Diploma like everyone else. |
| 103 | Denise Ciummo | dciummorn1990@aol.com | although i am against underage drinking, i do believe that these boys should be able to participate in graduation not having any other marks against them. |
| 104 | Banu Potter | bonners9@hotmail.com | My husband and I know Billy since the day he was born. He is like a son to us. We are absolutely shocked at the degree of punishment that is bestowed upon him and his friend Matt. Underage drinking should not be condoned nor tolerated. But, from everything I have heard, we have come to the conclusion that these boys are being picked on and singled out to be made examples of. It is simply unfair. Billy is a respectable and responsible young man. He has never been in trouble. We implore you, persons in charge of this harsh decision, to take a moment and reexamine the life long impact this will leave on these young men. Let them for one, continue to attend school, and most importantly have their proud moment and walk down the aisle to receive their diplomas along with their classmates. Thank you. |
| 105 | Thor Moeller | thor.moeller@yahoo.com | These guys are actually really cool people and normally aren't bad... |
| 106 | harold | haroldhogarth48@yahoo.com | I agree with this petition because what happened to these two young men was unfair, for the simple fact that the school superintendent based this situation on the code of conduct book. This is ridiculous because if they were really going by the code of conduct then at least 50% of the kids that attended this prom would be facing this type of penalty. I feel that this teacher was protected a lot of these kids and therefore she was being negligence at the same time because she wasn't looking in their best interest.. Their safety should of been her first priority and all she wanted to just to let them get away with it because they were friends of hers or she had some sort of relationship with them. Sure, pick on the few seniors and let everyone else party hardy. Way to go Warwick! I just wonder if this teacher was one of the ones that was intoxicated because her judgement was surely impaired. If this is they type of way she conducts these events then she should be removed from her position. She is not competent. |

| 108 | Victoria Dearing | victoria_dearing@yahoo.com | I think they should be allowed to walk. |
| 109 | paula pagan | paulapagan510@msn.com | I am the grandmother of Billy Rossiter. I just finished hanging up the phone with Billy. He apologized to me because he told me that there was not going to be a graduation. I am very heart broken about what transpired at the prom. I feel that these kids do not deserve this punishment because what they did was a mistake and they should be of been given a different punishment like community service or some other useful lesson . If you think this is going to resolve this epidemic of teenagers drinking you are wrong . We are all emotionally upset the way you have treated Billy. In twelve years of school ,Billy has never once been in trouble in school or out of school. This is why my family and I are asking you to please reconsider and allowed my grandson to attend his graduation and to allow me and my family to celebrate this sacred occasion. Thank you! |

| 111 | Peola Perkins | Peolas@optonline.net | Billy is A really Good Kid, He Should be allowed to go to school and graduate with his class
Warwick Valley School District should not damage this kid for life. When there have been other issues that need to be address. Stop destroying Good Young Kids |
| 112 | Lauren de Choudens | xobxmamixo@yahoo.com | I feel that Billy and his friend should be allowed to walk at their graduation ceremony. This is a very special moment in their life that they should not miss. Billy is a good person and he shouldn't be punished in this manner for one mistake that was a result of peer pressure. It was unfair from the start that he was alienated out of 340 people. It's not like he has prior bad behavior or any record of any kind. Being taken out of school and out of the things he loves is enough punishment. But not allowing him to walk at his graduation ceremony is rediculous. You are not only affecting him, you are affecting his FAMILY as well who have waited his whole life for this celebration of his HARD work. LET HIM WALK AT HIS GRADUATION. |
| 113 | Bella Namack | bella3399@yahoo.com | I think the punishment was excessive especially when it was never clear if in fact these boys drank any alcohol at all. |
| 114 | Pamela Ford | pam.ford@ustechinc.com | You would be lucky to have an entire graduating class of Matthew Culkins .. he is a scholar-athlete, and you would be lucky to have him as a representative graduate of your school. He is a bright young man with a shining future. He has never been a problem in any way during all his years in the Warwick school system. What you did to him was unfair and discriminatory. You held a gun to his head to accept your "negotiated settlement", I guess WHS has taught him something valuable after all. |
| 115 | Anonymous | Anonymous | I Know one of the boys who is not allowed to return to school, Billy, and he is a good person. He should be allowed to go to his graduation, he has earned it. |
| 116 | Jackie Trimlett | jackieeemichele@aim.com | |
| 117 | Henry Chica | hrosa26@msn.com | I know Billy Rossiter and he has always been a respectable young man. This has been a very difficult time for him and for all the people that know him because he has always given so much and it's a pity that he is being unfairly punished. I say let this young man walk he deserves it. |
| 118 | Mary Vealey | cmvealey@optonline.net | They should be allowed to graduate with their class. |
| 119 | Cheryl | stokkecs@gmail.com | Why was it that only these two boys were asked to do the breathalyzer test? Is the thought that since they were the oldest there, that the juniors wouldn't be doing that either? You got to know that isn't true, doesn't matter what age, a child will drink. The punishment was harsh for what was done. They should be able to walk in their graduation and return back to school. I know Billy, and he is a good kid. His parents instill good values for all of their children. |
| 120 | nicole Socci! | elephantsrock1813@yahoo.com | ok first of all this really pisses me off!!!! like how would you ever be able to tell your child or student that they couldent walk at graduation that is just not fair because billy rossiter is very determinde to to what has to get done and yeah maby he was struggling to get passed with grades and stuff but he hasnt come all this way for nothing you people say that is is dissrespectful wat he did but wat if your stupid test wasnt rite ever think of that???...no you dont and you dont give second chances and thats not fair because he wasnt intoxicated. i have known this family for a very very long time they are like my family and i stick up for them and one somthing like this happens it effects the whole family. any way the point is is that its not fair for you people to not let the boys walk at graduation. you can make some other kind of punishment like community service but doing this is just blown out of puportion and is UNHUMANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| 122 | pauline healy | pauline.healy@prudentialrand.com | I've known the Rossiter's for many years. I believe that the situation which occured on April 10th was truly out of character for Billy. I know he is very remorseful and sorry he tarnished the reputation of himself and the school district. I feel the punishment is too severe and he should be allowed to walk with his classmates at graduation. Kind regards, Pauline Healy |

| 127 | Eileen Ollinger | ollinger@optonline.net | Why would you deny someone from walking down the isle for graduation when then were never in trouble? |
| 128 | Mark Mazzella | mazz2007@optonline.net | I feel the penalty of not letting the boys finish their school year and graduate with their class is excessive.
The boys should be allowed to graduate with their class.
If students that get caught in school with marijuana only get a short suspension, then why are these students being punished so severely.
How many people on the school faculty can honestly say that they never drank a drop of alcolol under age. |
