Over the course of the year in the Organizational Behaviour class grading was unfair. We feel as though the grades received on both individual/group work did not reflect the work that was handed in. Time and time again after an assignment was handed back to the students several questions arose as to why some of the groups/individuals got such low marks. Very frequently it was due to missing content or it was not presented in the way that Professor R. Haq would have liked. Reason behind Professor R. Haq not receiving the content or presentation style she was looking for was due to the fact that the instructions were very vague and unclear. Hence, the students handed-in what they thought was what the teacher was looking for but after all since the instructions were not clear the results were well below what the hand-in was worth.
Furthermore, after the first term exam was handed back to the students there was a Q&A period. The correct answers to the exam were posted on the overhead and several students stated that they had the same answers as was on the overhead. Now after explaining this to Professor R. Haq that they did in fact have the same answers as were posted she would only brush them off and proceed to the next section of the exam. In conclusion, this demonstrates that Professor R. Haq is bias in her marking and that some students did not get the grades they did in fact deserve. |
