I am going to my class every week and there is no Teachers.
Let CPCS be heard. We tend to forget that at some point in time, we' ve all walked in the same shoes down varying but similar paths of life. We need more unification, not division.

I have a friend in this program who is using what he learns in the program to help his native country Liberia. It is a wonderful program and deserves press coverage and to be salvaged by UMass Boston!

The Globe has an unfortunate history of ignoring, underplaying or distorting key community struggles, as we in Somerville have seen around development issues. We have a right to expect more from our "best" daily!
Please don't allow UMass Boston to be destroyed by politics. In these difficult times we need an open enviroment in our schools to generate fresh ideas.

Please cover this extremely important issue. This department is vital beyond its role in education. It supports many of the community work that happens in Boston.

This school needs community support. Why is the Globe ignoring the issues?
This school is vital to the community wishes it services and it students.

I am a retired CPCS faculty person and am deeply saddened and angered by what the current Dean and Provost have done, which is so evidently intended to destroy the college. I urge the Globe to do a major story on the college.

It is outrageous how students and faculty are being treated at CPCS and I will do what ever is needed to ensure that I get my education at such an excellent college as CPCS. I pay for my education and it does not come cheap. Dean Awotona, the Provost and the Chancellor does not represent higher ed. and all should be ashamed of their behavior and lack of cooperation.

This is a story worth covering.
Please do not send me emails.
It is very frustrated to be at CPCS now. Everytime we have a problem no one know where it can be solve you ended up going from one department to another, and to another, and so on.
Let's continue to fight and do not give up.

I HAVE BEEN A STUDENT AT CPCS FOR 4 YRS NOW AND I HOPE TO GRADUATE IN 6/07 BUT WITH THE TRAGEDIES THAT ARE GOING ON. THAT MIGHT NOT HAPPEN I REALLY THINK IT IS SAD THAT THE DEAN BEING FROM A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY AND ALL HAS THIS ATTITUDE TOWARDS EDUCATION YOU WOULD THINK IT WOULD BE THE OPPOSITE. BUT WHEN YOU GIVE SOME PEOPLE POWER THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SITUATION.
I graduated in June, 2006. The last year of study was horrible because of the conditions at CPCS with the new dean. We did not know if we were going to be able to graduate after four years of very hard study and papers. What is going on at CPCS is a disgrace to the faculty and students most of whom work all week and attend classes. We would not put ourselves through all of this if we thought our choice of CPCS was not worth it. I feel very badly for the current students at CPCS, I know what I went through. How long is it going to take them now to get their degree with classes being canceled?
