Refereeing mistakes can be forgiven but the thing which MUST be stopped in modern day football is the cheating and the violence that has crept into our game. The simulation (diving), demanding for opponents to be punished and violence can not be condoned at any level.
FIFA must to do something about this as it is not ‘Fair Play’ which is one area that Mr Sepp Blatter (President of FIFA) says they are working hard to improve.
This cheating shows current and future players of the game that they may get away with things of this nature but the majority of players, managers and fans will not tolerate this. It needs to be stamped out NOW!!
The punishment shouldn’t be a fine because these are pathetic and the players can afford them. Players should be banned for an appropriate length of time or however many games it takes for it to stop! If they aren’t playing they can’t affect the game and cheating could be abolished.
