Karen Torley | I believe George Skatzes is an innocent man on both cases and should be retried and freed along with the others.

Sue May | I spent 12 years in jail for a crime I did not commit so know exactly how if feels to be locked away and Innocent. Lets get the Court to revisit this case in the name of JUSTICE!
Kerstin B |
Nigel Baldwin, Portsmouth UK | To kill George Skatzes on the basis of this "evidence" is to kill justice itself - and when justice dies, so does greatness and the USA's claim to be a great nation.
Noel E Cain (Australia) | This is just another instance of the corrupt, inept, gung-ho jurisprudence practiced in the United States of America. A country that projects itself as leader and proctector of "The Free World". History will deal harshly with this country in regards to this death penalty epoch.

jayne torley | say Justice for George
Frank | George Skatzes and the other men deserve justice. This is a travesty of justice. Retry these men NOW! The evidence is there if you look.
Del Groves | Yet another miscarriage of Justice; it is no surprise that it happened in Ohio. I urge you to review this man's convictions and set the records straight!
Kay Lee | It would be honest and just to review George Skatzes' case. There are just too many mistakes in the Justice System to ignore his claims.
Bobbie Isbell |
Beth Johnson | Investigate this case
| 15 | Merri Mason | I am the investigator who worked on George's appeal for over two years on preparation for submission to the State Supreme Court. Given that the highest court in our state denied this petition, it is hard to imagine that they gave it a proper review.
Based on my investigation of the Bellefontaine incident, and after interviewing nearly two hundred withnesses in the Lucasville incident, I do believe that George should not have received convictions in either situation.
I would like to see George vindicated and set free to live the remainder of his life in peace. |

Sharon Danann | We are starting a Cleveland Lucasville Five Defense Committee, first meeting on Dec. 11 at 5:00 PM. Call for location (216) 481-6671.
Daniel Smalley | Even if he were guilty (in which it seems he may not be) killing him would not be morally acceptable.
Lisa Sullivan | Snitch testimony and prosecutor "deals" are both insideous to the US legal system. A jury should not be met with politics and deal making. If it's not the truth, it's a lie. Wake up Ohio. When are you going to wake up?

Sharon O'Hara-Bruce | I am a criminal defense attorney in Michigan. How can a prosecutor admit in a closing argument, that the snitch is not in the defense chair, because the prosecution witness won the race to the snitch chair? I know that this happens, but I never heard of such an admission on the record. The prosecutor whould be in the defense chair, for suborning testimony, and admitting to it...Unbelievable.
