This would also pose transportation issues for those who do not drive, and interferes with a woman's right to choose to have a home birth, as you must be within a reasonable distance from a hospital. In bad weather, particularly in the winter, the commute for a woman in labour could be down right dangerous. |

And the comment that was made that its not a surprise to women wehne there pregnate they have 9 months to make preperations to get to St Catharines was rude and insensitive. |
