| 4666 | Valerie Knight | I taught one of the children who was studied by Dr Andrew Wakefield in an autistic facility in Sussex. The mother was very diligent and adhered to the diet despite the difficulties and I watched her daughter change from a very chaotic child with a full Autistic diagnosis to a child with a future- with all the autistic tendencies greatly reduced, over a period of three years. No other child in the same unit made similar progress. Whether it is the MMR vaccine or not, I do believe it is a condition related to diet in many people. |

| 4683 | Anonymous | I have studied 'Field Control' therapy with Dr. Yurkovsky who believes that autism can develop in children who have leaky guts for reasons, one of which includes antiobiotic use around the time of their MMR. The mercury(in thiomeriosal in which the vaccine is prepared) then passes through this leaky gut and enters the blood stream. It affects the brain, causing a form of encephalitis, the result of which is the development of 'autistic' symptoms. |
