| 3218 | karan mckerrow dean | Like you I have a son who developed late onset autism after a 2 year history of ear infections, over-subscription of anti-bioutics and recurring gastroenteritis requiring jospitalisation where it was discovered the lining of his stomach wall was non-existent. We then spent several years being pushed from pillar to post whilst he would writhe on the floor in agony, have an obviously distended abodmen, terrible flatulence, had a proven intestinal candida problem etc. no-one would help us. his symptoms and history are identical to those described by the pioneers who have discovered autistic entracolitis. this is most definitely what my son has and we cannot get any help. my son;s diet is carefully monitored by his dietician and paediatrician which we have to severely limit to reduce symptoms - he is now growing well and not lacking in any nutrients. Prior to this he went from the 98th to 2nd centile and was not thriving. |

She then lost weight and regressed in her developement. I was told this was normal! I had two other children -- this was NOT normal. She has never had any more immunisations, so did not have the MMR and was treated with homeopathy and has recovered well with only very mild behavioural problems, which are denied. My fourth child has not had any immunizations and is a fit, healthy 18 year old.
This disgraceful denial of cause and effect which has never been investigated properly is an outrageous breach of human rights. |

It is well documented that there has been a 10,000 fold increase in ASD since the 70's. whether it is caused by his vaccinations or not is not the point. he is however mercury and lead toxic as well as having various other health problems. I have had to have Nic tested, have had to pay for meds and supps to try to cure him. I have repeatedly asked my Paed and my GP for help. Why is this help not available on nhs? the cost of caring for these children when they are adults will be FAR FAR higher than curing them as children. |

| 3238 | Clara O'Neill | For a doctor to be struck of for being thorough, curious and open minded is beyond my realm of possibility - surely we need more doctors like this who recognise the possibility of a negative impact from chemical interventions on the human body. Surely the possibility of individual unique responses by individual and unique patients is not too much to comprehend - we all have varying states of health and therefore immune function reactions and responses at different times in our lives. A Doctor that understands this possibility is to be commended not criticised and certainly not struck off for posing this as a possibility. I urge the medical council to think carefully about the possibility that research into oral immune tolerance and the effects of a breakdown in this function grows rapidly and they will be proven irresponsible for even considering striking a doctor off for such statements of belief. |
