71 NICISHATSEThank you Richard Wilson and all those struggling for freedom of the press. It is important that the Burundian government knows that it is not by muzzling the press that he will succeed in concealing its mercantile desires. What Kavumbagu be released immediately.

92 Thaddee HatungaJean-Claude has been one the champions of freedom of speech and the most vocal critic of the different governements since 1990s and it was no surprise that the current authoritarian governement chose to silence him so that they can continue acting without anyone voicing concerns to the public and the outside world over the violation of human rights and the corruption in Burundi in the hands of the authorities since they came to power in 2005.Anyone interested in the rule of law, good governance and freedom of speech should condamn the arrest and jailling of Jean-Claude Kavumbagu. He must be freed immediately and without condition and be let to carry on his job and actions.
