We, the Bored Summer Young Adults (BSYA) of New York, insist that Avi Garelick be allowed to stay in New York City for the duration of the humid, uncomfortable season known as Summer. We understand that his parents love him, sort of, but who will we call randomly at 2:30 to go to the park? Who will make us plan several failed picnics? Who will mumble about foreign cinema? Who will provide Andrew with the love and kindness he needs? Who will stumble around blindly because he refuses to fix his glasses (or invest in a monocle?) Oh yeah, and save Darfur. |
