51 ThomasSmithChrist calls us to stand with the poor. At the very least we must stand with those who stand with the poor.
52 LoisSmithUSThis action is overdue
53 CatherineWebsterCAUSI am a firmly committed Roman Catholic who believes that my faith, as exemplified by Jesus Christ, demands that I speak up for and seek out to relieve the oppressed, and that I love my enemy as well as my self (and friends, and country, and relatives...).
54 Mary BrigidClingman OPMIUSMany of our Sisters have been part of the Twinning Parish Program with Haiti and have come to appreciate the extreme oppression and poverty being suffered by the people. Father Jean-Juste has been an outspoken voice for the sake of the people and needs and deserves our support. Thank you on behalf of the Dominican Sisters of Grand Rapids. Sister Mary Brigid Clingman OP Councilor of Mission and Advocacy

90 EvaleeMickeyIAUSIt is my sincere belief that the US Catholic Bishops, by standing up for Fr. Jean Juste, could make a difference in human rights abuses, not only for Fr. Juste, but, would demonstrate that the Catholic Bishops are willing to stand against injustice.

98 AnthonyDrayeWAUSThe U.S. Catholic Bishop’s Conference has an obligation to speak out against mistreatment of Fr. Jean-Juste. He has been a champion of the poor, but political circumstances have led to his illegal imprisonment. The U.S. Catholic Bishop’s Conference should take a stand and let the world know that the Conference will not stand by while priests are the subject of political intimidation.

100 CatherinePodojilOHUSSirs, Do you really wish to thought of in the same contemptuous terms as the U.S. is currently viewed around the world -as a nation that does not respect the rules of justice. Release Father Jean-Juste now.
