| 4 | Sandra Knutson | Foster parents do such wonderful work by taking in children who need temporary homes. Our son was adopted, but needed foster care for the first three weeks of his life. His foster parents were amazing! I appreciate everything that they did for him. I know that they love him and the many other children they have fostered throughout the years. |
| 5 | Cynthia Travis | I believe this is a great idea. We need to let the world know we are here to help the children. We should be reconized not only as Foster Parents, but as people that love children so much, we bring them into our homes and love them with all we have in us. We make sure these children get the love, attention and ability to love. |

| 14 | Henry N. Crenshaw, Jr | The love of foster parents must be akin to that of my birth mother who almost 62 years ago changed my life forever when she handed her newborn son over to the Life/Love Mother who raised me as her very own. Although I never knew anything about my birth mother I know there was consideration of my best interest in her giving me to someone else who loved me with her whole soul, being and heart. It takes a special person to surrender something they love.....I support this legislation. |

| 34 | Amanda | Boggs | VA | I hope that our nation, and all nations, will honor Foster Parents on this day. It is the least that our government can do to show appreciation for those who strive hard every day to care for these youths. They pour their heart and soul into trying to care for these children, and it is about time they get some recognition for their devotion, not that they even want credit. Foster parents do what they do out of love, understanding, and the hope to change a child's life for the better. I really hope that the government gives them the recognition they so truly deserve. Thank you. |
| 35 | Anonymous | Anonymous | FL | Foster parents are a blessing to this nation and I believe that they should have a day when they are honored. |
| 36 | Jenny | Rawl | TX | I am a foster parent. I will tell you that folks have a low opinion of what we do. I am a foster parent because I want to help. I am not in it for the money. There is not enough money to deal with some of things we go through. Constant suspicion etc.
Foster parents should have their own day |
