A Petition to Fire or Demote Maurice Carthon

The petition

To: The Cleveland Browns Organization

With this Petition we ask that the Cleveland Browns remove all offensive play-calling authority from Maurice Carthon. We have been patient and loyal fans of the Cleveland Browns. This has been shown through our fan attendance consistently ranking in the top 10 of all NFL teams, despite a winning percentage of merely 32% since 1999 (36 wins 112 losses).

While we understand that the team is currently in the midst of a rebuilding phase, incompetence on our coaching staff is unacceptable. We expect and deserve to watch an exciting offense that understands the importance of effective situational play-calling. Mr. Carthon has failed to provide us with this. The problem can be remedied by either a) demoting Mr. Carthon from the position of Offensive Coordinator or b) firing Mr. Carthon from the organization.
