Thats obvious because if she did she see the longtime viewers disappointment with Kriezmans moronic writing.Nothing of course tops his so called brilliant idea of an incestous cousins romance storyline.What a freaking idiot. Kreizman refused to ackknowledge this miserable failure of a storyline. he was actually proud of it, can you imagine???They've ruined what used to be a good soap.No problem though because most of the material is fast forward worthy anyway.Somebody please remove these two puds before someone really does decide to cancel this soap forever. |

| 443 | Anonymous | All of the story lines center around breaking up stable relationships. All of the affairs are among family members. They happen between cousins, sisters going after their sisters husbands, daughters with their mothers husbands - can't you find anything better to write about?. There is no stability and love in any ot the relationships. This is not realistic to the viewers. I have been a fan for over 25 years. I no longer have that warm feeling when the show comes on. I find myself fast forwarding through more and more of it. Especially when they have this affairs among the family members. I keep tuning in out of habit ,hoping for change. but I have a sense of dread about what they are going to write into the stories. The story lines do not have a sense of morals or decency that they used to have even though it is a soap. There are no loving relationship, no family connections other than family members sleeping with other family member's spouses. |

| 448 | Margaret Taylor | I, like my enitre family have been watching cbs soaps since I was a young girl, now as adults everyone is switching to Days or AMC or GH. I for one refuse because I wish to stay loyal to the great soaps I fell in love with but it is hard when I catch a glimpse of the shows my family members are watching I start realizing how much better and true to character their stories are. As a soap fan you learn to live with a recast, break up, or stupid decision involving characters but they always remain true to their character. Now I look around and I don't recognize these people, these families. Gus and Harley, Reva and Josh, Dinah and Mallet, Matt and Vanessa, Cassie and Jeffrey. As well as individuals I don't even know who Cassie is anymore she went from Laura Wright's strong, sensible character and became this emotional, whimpy, brother in law marrying lun. As a fan all you want is familiarity with innovative changes that make you excited to watch good writing. You don't want to turn on the tube only to be annoyed, lost, and disappointed. None of this makes sense anymore, this is not GL anymore this is some new show with new characters who resemble GL's cast. I enjoy the new set changes and innovative things you guys are doing in that department but I would be happier to have my show back Y&R and ATWT may not always make me happy but I definitely keep watching and I'm excited for the upcoming storylines....please give me my show back...if you read the message boards, fan letters, and soap magazines you will see that ALL of the fans are upset and have been for a while. I keep feeling like the best and longest running show on television is going down the drain because fans are tuning out due to disappointments and so am I. I only watched today for maybe 20 mins to see Lizzie who has really grown up get her baby back and get some happiness for a while. I can't stomach many of the other character changes for too long. |

I cannot believe the writers would think the storyline of Jonathan taking Sarah and making Lizzie believe she is dead is ok with us viewers. I'm tired of everyone on the show saying they back Jonathan because of Alan. Honestly, what can Alan do? He's not the baby's father. I'm tired of that excuse. I'm tired of these story lines. Harley would NEVER take a man away from her Marina. Cassie would never sleep with her sister's husband. Gus would never leave Harley. Don't get me started on the kissing cousins thing. Gross! I think I'll just stick to Y&R until things change on GL. |
| 450 | Heather Martindale | I've been watching this show with my grandmother who is 82 since I was a little girl. Any type of adult show that attracts a child as a loyal viewer says something. That's the thing that builds a loyal fanbase, lifelong viewers, which is really what soaps rely on. With the way the show is being written now, I don't see that happening anymore. I realize that everything changes, and that it has to, but there has to be a constant, something that remains stable. I remember many things from Guiding Light, many characters that have come and gone. I also remember many characters that were there and are still there. But, they're really not "there" anymore. I think there is a change that needs to happen, but not with the actors, something else entirely. There's got to be some old reels in the stacks around there somewhere, for god's sake, PLEASE, someone go watch them! |
