Ellen Wheeler fired some of my favorite actors, David McDonald, Grant A, etc. and kept some of the worst actors and worst characters. She has had a victim of rape apologize to her rapist and fall in lust with him. This man raped another woman too but Wheeler keeps pushing this character, Jeffrey O'Neil as some kind of ladies man. He has slept with most of the women on the show. The writing destroys characters, history, and they re-write their own history. Now they let go a fine actor, Michael Dempsey, who they kept pairing his character up with teen-agers, that is why the viewers don't like him. The show's writing is terrible, and Wheeler should aplogize to us fans and the crew for being such a poor producer. |

I have watched these peoples lives for most of my life and I care about these characters and their history. The writers claim to care about the history of Guiding Light but in the next breath it gets thrown out the window. These writers are egocentric and are destroying this once wonderful show. Please FIRE them. Get rid of them before they drive Guiding Light so far down that it can't be rescued. |

I love Reva, Billy, Buzz and many others, but I will not have Josh and Cassie crammed down my throat anymore. SO my only recourse is to quit watching my beloved Guiding Light and to BOYCOTT the sponsors of it. I have no other alternative. I would rather they keep Alan MIchael and get rid of Cassie. JMO, she is not a very good actress. Bring back JEVA and if you want to get better ratings, bring back Grant Aleksander, big mistake to let him go. Just one mistake of many. I miss my show but will not watch it like this. Thanks for this petition and a chance to vent. |
