The ever growing number of child abduction and abuse cases in the United States has become outrageous. In recent months, children such as Jetseta Gage of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Jessica Lunsford of Florida have been abducted and murdered by already convicted sex offenders.
These are just two of hundreds maybe even thousands of children who are abducted and are often raped, abused and in many cases murdered.
It is with our firm devotion that these abductions and killings of our children across North America be put to a stop!
We are asking the United States Congress and the President of the United States to keep registered sex offenders behind bars. We also ask that the US Government impose stiffer penalties on those who abduct and abuse children, by putting such cases under Federal Jurisdiction and imposing an automatic life sentence with no parole.
Children should not have to live in fear. Children are people too, and they have every right to live in a safe and fear free environment. NO person has the right to take away the innocence and life of a child.
If we do not take action now, then our country will have no future. |
