Grant Mowbray | I wholeheartedly support this cause. Puppy mills are deplorable and must be stopped.
Anonymous | This woman should, at the very least, NOT be allowed to have any of these dogs back!! This is a travesty of justice.

Anonymous | What does this teach the children who witness this travesty of Justice? Where is the justice in this? May God turn his head when they ask for mercy on anyone connected with giving these lives back to someone so inhumane.
Betty Jean Herner | Don't return dogs back.
Anonymous | By allowing the return of these pups to this woman, they are being guaranteed a life of misery. The court, with its decision, is really doing this woman a favor by restoring the health of these pups at no expense to her and taking sick and neglected dogs off her hands. This woman may also be guilty of wire fraud by altering photos of dogs for sale on her website, deceiving potential customers. These dogs need JUSTICE, not merely having the law applied.

Susan Taylor | Take the poor dogs back & lock this woman in a metal cage...throw away the key!
Jean Gibbons |
Lisa Czepiel | Domestic animals rely on us to protect them. Returning these dogs to their abuser is unconscionable and inhumane.
Charlotte Hood | Shame shame on anyone who agrees to give those puppies back to the puppy mill!!
Marsha Donelson | What you do makes a difference and you have to decide what kind of a difference you want to make. Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.Think occasionally of the suffering of which you spare yourself the sight. IT IS UNCONSCIONABLE to allow these severely, inhumanely treated dogs to be returned to the totally irresponsible breeder who has no soul, nor a conscience. DO THE RIGHT THING, PLEASE, and represent the furry friends who have no voice and who are forced to live in torture every single moment of the day and night.

Debbie Csaky | These dear animals are at OUR mercy. Please do the right thing and do not allow her to have any animals in her care.
Donna Melia | I'm tired of humans not being held accountable when they are running BAD "businesses".
Stacy Smith | This woman does not deserve to have ANY dogs in her care.
Sandra Kerrick | How about "An eye for an eye"? Put her in a cage barefooted with 6 or 7 other puppy-mill breeders and leave them all there, treating them as they treated their little ones. Giving those babies back to her is no different than rescueing physically abused children from their guardians just to give them back saying it's ok to continue abusing them because people who care will pay for the Dr./ER bills that will arise from all future abuse. WHAT ARE YOU THINKING???? THIS IS INSANE!!!!

| 124 | Kimberly Niebrugge | I can not believe that a judgement would be made to put those animals is care of a person that has no regard for a living animal. Evidence proves this person is not adequately caring for these animals yet they are being sent back. What message are you sending to millions out there? What are message are you sending to those trying o save these animals and the people that have given thousands of dollars to protect these animals from people like her.
Please do not return these animals, and make it so she can never hurt another again. Their lifes depend on your actions. |

Helen Stutzman | This is beyond cruel to put those pups back there !!!
Bettye Miller |
Lisa Marchbanks | i hope these dogs arent returned to this mill situation
Janet Rohe | It's all about GREED, plain and simple. I am a dog lover and there is no way I could ever put my dogs in a cage.If some one truly cares for animals there would not be an issue or a problem!
Regan Bond | Don't send them back!

Anonymous | As a volunteer that has worked with these dogs I can attest to their physical and psychological damages. I have seen things that bring me to tears that little dogs, young or old should not have to endure. This women should not be allowed to own even 1 dog. She does not respect life enough to care for them properly. They are just beginning to heal and learning how to be a dog. To put ANY of them back in her hands is assigning them to a life of pain and suffering until they too become as sick as the ones she damaged and no longer wants to keep.

Pam Zibell | We need to stop this insanity. This lady is profiting by treating these poor animals so badly- Take them away and never let her have another dog again- Pam Zibell
Bernadine Reid | Why would any of the dogs be returned to Ms. Hughes. I is a proven fact that the dogs were kept in deplorable conditions. What was Judge Myra Scott McNary thinking? Her decision should be overturned immediacy!!!!!
Sabrina Delgado | This is an outrage and should not be allowed by those of us who are pet owners and take proper care of our animals.
Linda Demos | As a Suncoast volunteer, I have seen the signs of unspeakable abuse that these dogs suffered at the hands of this creature. Please do not let them return to this house of horrors.
Suzanna M Farkash | It is inconceivable to me that anyone would even consider returning a single one of these dogs. This woman should be held in the same conditions as she held her dogs, for a long, long time.
Christin Kuck | Let's end animal cruelty. Do not return animals to people who clearly are not capable of properly caring for said animals!

KATHLEEN WILSON | To return any of these dogs to conditions as deplorable as that of a Nazi concentration camp it utterly horrifying to me. Ms Hughes is NOT going to change her ways; anyone who would do something this despicable to a living creature to begin with will indeed do it again, as soon as she thinks that eyes are off of her. I've seen these types of cases happen over, and over, and over again. I plead with the courts - please overturn the ruling by Judge Myra Scott McNary. Sincerely, Kathleen Wilson
