Charlotte Hood | Don't let her have these babies back!!!
Ann Snowgren | I have a puppy mill breeder from a hoarder in Ottumwa Iowa. I've had her six months and she is still having trust issues, especially with men.

Teresa Ball | I am fostering one of the Pomeranian female breeders. When I got her she was shaking, scared, and would not make eye contact. She had never been held, petted or brushed. She was only known as #311 - age unknown. Four months later she's gained weight, her coat has grown back in full and soft. She loves being outside in grass and her tail wags when she sees us. Her name is Lexie Bear. She is happy and safe for the first time in her little life. Please support the Suncoast Animal League in their efforts to never send any of these puppy mill dogs back to Teresita Hughes. She is only interested in making money from them. It would be so cruel if they have to go back to a caged, abused life.

Alyssa Dillon | I am a 22 year old UCF alumna from Palm Harbor, Florida. My mother showed me the newspaper article about Teresita Hughes’ puppy mill located in Tarpon Springs, Florida. It was horrifying to imagine innocent puppies being forced to live in absolute filth. My family and I immediately wanted to do anything we could to help so we volunteered to foster both a Yorkie and Pomeranian. We named them T-hee and Lexie because they were simply serial codes to Hughes. Lexie even has the number 2 tattooed inside of her ears! It is unknown what the ages or health issues of these animals are. They both have rotten teeth and crooked legs. They cannot walk straight. When we first got them, their bodies were constantly shaking when we tried to hold or touch them. It took a long time for them to even want to come out of their crates. They did not trust humans in the beginning. We put them in the soft grass in front of my home but they just stood there because they had never touched the earth before. Who knows how many litters of puppies they were forced to have. Their bodies are suffering. We bought nice, clean blankets for them but they lay on the cold tile floor instead. They are not used to having anything sanitary. In the puppy mill, they slept in their own and others’ feces. I wish we could have a veterinarian do more tests to make sure they are healthy but we are not allowed to because we do not have custody of these poor puppies, Hughes still does.
paula conlan | this woman should not be allowed to look after any animal.
Marilynn Murphy | We are fostering a little Yorkie male who has deformed knees, eye infection, and other medical problems. He is doing well and so sweet. We want to adopt this little fella!

Ashley Dillon | As part of a foster family, I've seen the emotional and health problems of these abused dogs first-hand. Please do not return these innocent animals to such inhumane conditions; they deserve loving homes that meet their basic needs.
Vickie Willis | I have seen the damage done by Mrs. Hughes & would like to see that the animals stay with thier foster families.
Karen Wood | I dont want this lady to ever get any of those or any future dogs...the way she treated them is just WRONG. Maybe she would be put in a cage for awhile and see how she likes it!!!!

Tamra Sommers | There needs to be some justice for these poor animals. They can not be sent back into the filthy living conditions and neglect.

chuck seligman |
Stephanie Marshall | unbelievable
Bonnie Jayjohn | To allow this woman to continue to abuse these animals is disgraceful. Let them live out their days being loved and cared for and ban her from owning another animal.
Anonymous | SIGNED. People like this should be stuffed in a cage in bare feet on wire cages and be forced to defecate on themselves.
Cheryl Lamb |
Sandy |
Bonnie Martin |
Elizabeth Parvin | Please do the right thing and save these innocent dogs.
Patricia Nigro | How can anyone in their right mind allow these dogs to be returned to this person? If she loved & cared for these dogs they would still be with her. This person should be punished & by allowing the dogs to be returned to her is punishing these innocent animals & signing their death warrant. God created humans after the animals because he knew they would need us to help care for them he must be extremely sad & disappointed in some of us not to mention angry. This person should never be allowed to ever have any animals since she has no love or compassion for life in any form.
Rosemary Zin |
Heather Wolf | Please I beg you, do not return these precious animals back to Teresita Hughes, she is incapable of taking proper care of these animals. Give the animals a chance, please turn these animals over to the Humane Society so they may find loving homes for these animals that have been put so much already.

Anonymous | please do not give this awful monster these dogs back. what is wrong with a judge that would think that this is okay? i am disgusted and it is horrible these poor innocent dogs will have to live like this!
Liz Trewhitt | What a horrible situation! These dogs should be allowed to be adopted out to LOVING homes where they will get individual attention. Not just sit in a cage only to be bred over and over again!
Lacey Glass | let her rot in a cage like she let those dogs.
Liliyan Abdiyo | Stop the CRUELTY!! HELP THE ANIMALS!
Anonymous | I moved from Ma. to Florida. Never in my life have I seen animal cruelty as in the state of Florida.
Christine | I purchased a Yorkshire terrier from her last December. He is adorable, but he has breathing problems and when I first bought him she wanted me to bring him back so SHE could give him his last set of shots. I brought him to my vet who took care of my little one and he stated it was illedgal for her to do that. I would love to help.
Nancy Miller | I'm a dog lover... I have 4 dogs and a cat. 3 of the 4 are rescue animal..We need strict laws to protect these animals who do not have a choice...
Amanda McLeod | This is absolutely ridiculous! Those poor animals are suffering!
| 1444 | Anonymous | I am in full agreement with the above said petition. I am shocked that any judge would send helpless animals back to hel*l. It is inexcusable. No animal should ever be allowed
to be abused and neglected just so a human can make money off of their misery! |
Laurel Watson | Please stop all animal abuse!
Lorraine Wagner | She should not be allowed to get these dogs back- There are many people out there who can give them a good home.
Jacinthe Vigneault |
Tonya Jones |
Jan Thomas | Hughes Should be put in a cage and left there like she did these poor sweet babies.
