Anonymous | We will be FORCED to pay for services that we already have which are far superior to what the City will "provide".

Steven Kessler | People should have a choice if they want to be annexed or not. Not forced against their will with out a choice.

| 671 | Nancy B Raburn | Cities need to get spending under control instead
of raiding outlying neighborhoods like modern day
Goths. |

Harold Smathers | Forced annexation amounts to taxation without representation. Please support a change in NC's forced annexation law
A.F.Best | This forced annexation is nothing but a land grab. There are areas next to Goldsboro not annexed with much higher values and would cost the city much less. Why us ???
Merle Harris | Annexation would present a severe hardship on me. I am 76 years old and do not want to have to sell my house and move.
Bessie R. Tyndall | It is time the people get a voice in what they are paying tax on. We work hard for our property and value that property that we have inheirted. Part of my inheirted land was given to my great great grandparents through a grant from the Queen of England in the 1800's and now I will have annexation forced upon me on this farm land.
Nela Loflin | I greatly urge you to reform annexation laws quickly and in the mean time vote "yes" for a moratorium on forced annexations in our state.
Raymond C Sharrow |
Bessie R. Tyndall |
Gregg Beck | This is a must pass piece of legislation. NC citizens will no longer tolerate Municipalities forcefully annexing our homes and neighborhoods. I attended meetings voiced my opinion and stated very clearly we did NOT want to be in a city linit area. My wishes fell on deaf ears.

Anonymous | I worked 46 years and recently retired. I am now on greatly reduced budget. Annexation offers me no new services, just an increase in what I pay for current services and doubling of my taxes. This will reduce the amount of disposable income that I will spend in the city that wants to annex me.
Kevin L. Bacon | I am against the forced annexation of NorthWest Wayne County property by the City of Goldsboro. Thank You.
William Sherman | Death and Taxes are for sure... If State, County, and local taxes keep being increased annually we need to combine county and city/village budgets... like S.C. We do not need 100 counties and 100 cities in N.C.
