We are trying to get the TamilNadu government to take this issue seriously and present viable bids for making Chennai the venue for this event. It is not just a sports event, but it is a huge revenue generator for the state and will put the venue on the international map. It will also lead to further investment in overall infrastructure of the state and help build those roads that are battered.
We are calling all F1 fans to vote for this petition and help the government to realize the potential that this sport has. We are bidding for Chennai to be the venue cause of the history of racing that the city can boast of and the number of ardent fans who already visit the existing tracks. |
