CPS rushes to TAKE the children not in the "Best Interest of the Child" but for the money they represent to them. | 129 | Bridget | My son was diagnosed with Autism at the age of two, having three other children prior to him all girls I never understood why just him or why him period. And every since then I have been fighting along with other parents to find a way survive life with and Autistic child. What I have found is the schools systems out here dont have the proper education for handling our childern nor do they want to go and get the proper training so getting them out of the class rooms is what they do best. This young man was getting the proper care at home and by his doctors. Doing what was necessary to make sure he didnt harm himself to much or others. If the restraints were mandated by the dr what gave the teacher, CPS and the judge the right to take him out of a caring home and place him in a hospital of people that dont have his best interest at heart. But only to keep him drugged and not loved like his parents would.
We as parents of kids with special needs have to ban together I will sigh the petition and those of my Autism Support group on msn are going to do the same

Children ripped from their homes by private trials, parents and relatives facing hurdle after hurdle that makes their efforts to reclaim futile, these laws have orphaned three geerations of children. Please read Stephen Baskerville's 'Taken Into Custody" and you will know that there are millions of disenfranchised Americans, that these unjust laws were just the beginning of the erosion of our Constitution. If these laws are "for the children" why aren't their rights upheld to have two parents, not one. Foster homes are criminally severing bonds of loving families so that the so-called "child protective agencies" can feed their wallets from the tax trough. This system of corruption runs deep, Mr.Waxman. I am a female, these laws do nothing for me except make me fear for my sons and grandchildren, so do not let NOW keep throwing ou t more unconstitutional laws to protect me. Children need two parents, children need their extended families, not locked up and drugged in institutions, waiting for some tax funded "foster family". These are hard times Mr.Waxman, don't abandon the children recieving the benefit of two loving homes, they were born with two parents, not one. I can only hope that gay marriage will pass and not so many babies are born into this unjust system. |

I'm personally traumatized because my daughter was recently placed in a locked psychiatric ward due to an emotional breakdown she had. Her middle school administrators continually ignored her psychiatric condition despite my pleas and letters, and treated her in the worst possible way.
I live in Florida and my story of abuse of special ed kids is far from unique. |

| 144 | Dorothy Knightly | My two daughter's children were taken illegally by DCYF in N.H. My oldest daughter walked into DCYF's cohort hospital with her daughter and was accused of being intoxicated. Her children were taken, yet lab result's which showed up month's later, prove no alcohol, only prescription medication.
My younger daughter's baby was taking after the same cohort hospital accused her of doing illegal drug's at the time of the baby's birth. She was given a morphine IV for nineteen hour's while in labor. Morphine showed up in the baby. Her prenatal record's finally appeared six month's after the baby was taken.
In both cases, the Judge said he didn't care if they were taken illegally. It's too late, as their Lawyer's didn't file appeal's, as they refused to do so.
Both girl's are disabled and on Social Security disability, which DCYF knew from the start.
Under Title IV-E "reasonable effort's", DCYF is required by Federal Law to provide the disabled mother with any services she need's to keep the child in the home. This didn't happen and never does. These children were taken immediately, with no service's offered. Why does our Government keep letting this unaccountable to noone govt. agency get away with all this corruption they practice. This need's to stop. All they do is destroy family's. |
