These stories are a step in the right direction, but one wonders if perhaps they came too late. All the outrage in the world can't resurrect a dead child.
Too many children have died as a result of wrong decisions by CPS. With power comes responsibility and accountability, which most officials ignore. A child welfare system so overwhelmed with children who don't need to be in foster care,the less time they have to find children in real danger.
Let's NOT allow these precious children's death to be in vain - in the news one day, forgotten the next. Please be a voice for good, a voice for the voiceless, a voice for change.

DCS, omnivisions,,a contractor for foster parents for DCS did not do a background check. My son was chocked to death by the foster father. Who had various criminal charges before becoming a foster parent. He has only been charged with Agervated Homicide. Is still on the streets on a 2500$ bond. These destructive laws have stolen precious time away from cherished family relationships, left our own family devastated in numerous ways. Also, those who were to enforce the law were so tunnel-visioned that in their near-blind zealous pursuits, they look at only one set of laws while they continue to violate numerous other federal laws that were put in place. The laws to protect the disabled, were totally ignored. They cause me, a disabled woman, to suffer otherwise preventable numerous physical injuries. There is too much, but I can tell you in short that at least three generations of my family on both sides have been devastated by this, and these laws have adversely affected my children for whom these laws were allegedly designed to protect. Instead, these laws steal from the children. My next door neighbor suffered to the point that she and her four (4) minor children were forcibly evicted from their home -- the child support agency had aggressively collected the support from her former husband, but instead, held onto the money without just cause themselves, and therefore caused her to not have what she needed to pay the rent for the shelter for her children and herself. They were literally thrown out onto the street! If these child support laws are supposed to be so great, then why are they causing both custodial and non-custodial parents to be forced into homelessness? Who is enforcing the enforcers to obey the laws? Who is protecting children and their families from extremely traumatic forcible invasions with firearms without just cause when said parents and children are upstanding law abiding members of the community? The child support laws are misused to give power-hungry young firearm-toting officers into dangerous family torturers and traumatizers without just cause. These laws are misinterpreted, misused, misquoted, and then the alleged enforcers who traumatize families act as renegades, unchecked. There is just too much suffering in so many different kinds of ways to share what happens to the innocent minor children by what is done in their presence to their parents. |

Five months later and I still have no idea or logical reason as to why. After all the lies and false reports CPS still can't come up with logical legal reasons as to why they should have been removed. Stating I sent dirty baby bottles when removed which is a lie(not to mention highly unbelievable anyone would do) still doesn't justify why they were being removed in the first place. Even worse the corrupt courts continue to hold them hostage in Foster Care even though they have fit grandparents who were raising them. The real sad tragedy two children being emotional abused by the state. My granddaughter now 8 yrs. old has recently been moved into her 3rd placement in 5 months. |

Education money is being spent on court battles. Mediation is not required if both parties don't agree. That should be a required first step not an option. False allegations are taken to be truths. Families are being destroyed by the court system and the children are the victims. Something MUST be done. We are losing the whole family structure and the only winners are the social systems that caused the probelm. |
