Make St. Georges Day a recognised Public Holiday

The petition

It's simple, most nations get a chance to celebrate their nationality and demonstrate their high regard for the country in which they live. For example, the Irish get St. Patricks Day as a bank holiday; the Scottish get St. Andrews Day; Americans celebrate their country with a holiday on July 4th; even the Australians celebrate their nation with a public holiday on Australia Day.
I love England and want to celebrate my nationality on Our Saints' day. Sign this petition in the hopes of making St. Georges Day a Public Holiday for England.
