| 155 | Jeanine Tucker | I wish the organization would follow the rules so the membership knows there is honesty and integrity in the process and can take pride in the titles earned. |
| 156 | Gary Cooper | There is alot that needs to be address, but we,ll deal this for right now. |

| 161 | Kathy Prudden | The USCA organization should be embarrassed by the video of the performances and coinsiding placements. They have made a mockery of the title VA. |
| 162 | Nancy Tremblay | I would just like to say that I was quite saddened by the performances of some of the dogs I witnessed via online video, but the saddest is many went on to be VA. This title should be reserved only for dogs that are not only excellent conformation, but excellent in the work! A pronounced rating should not be being given to dogs that come off the sleeve and bite like a butterfly IMO! |
| 163 | Jan Nielsen | USA#1101 It is time for the Executive Board to listen to its membership and stop ignoring the grass roots members who not only support this organization, they ARE the organization! |
| 164 | Jim Philson | I am very disappointed and embarrassed for our organization. If this is the best the USA can do, I expect too much. I know my personal standard is much higher than what I saw in the videos. It's time to fix this!!! Make the Sieger show worth something again. No wonder the working line enthusiasts want nothing to do with the confirmation lines. Very embarassing. |

| 181 | Rhonda Long | UScA #000457 It isn't the BSP or the Nationals, BUT no dog should receive a VA that can't heel, stay on the sleeve through the drive, out, and assume a hold position.... simple SchH1 work. Several of these dogs, according to the rules, should have been put at the end of their class.
It is up to the judges to enforce the rules fairly for the level of the competition entered. As Max said:
> "An able handler may manage to get such a dog on to the trial ground and perform, - but it would be no genuine performance. But to bring such a dog on to the trial ground in order to get for him from an
indulgent judge the desired credentials would not only be insincerity -- for the handler cannot have overlooked the dog's defect!-- but also a crime against the breed. In real life such superficial training is of no use, the dog would fail if it came to a struggle in earnest. Thus, however "beautiful" such a dog may be, he is not the dog for the shepherd dog lover to whom he would cause nothing but disappointment, shame and anger, and he is even less a dog for the breed. Away with
him!" .....Max von Stephanitz
I know there are a lot of good working showline dogs!!!!! But as was said, they don't stand a chance at the big shows.....wrong kennel name, not enough money, judge isnt' a friend..... very expensive and discouraging to campaign a dog that the cards are stacked against! We used to have fun...... It isn't easy breeding, raising, and training a national level dog, let alone making sure they have hips, elbows, teeth, color, size, and correct movement PLUS the drives and working ability!!!!! I take my hat off to those who do it RIGHT!!!!!!! |
| 182 | Donna Miceli 015018 | I attended the 2003 Sieger Show. During that competition 3 to 4 dogs(dogs and bitches) were disqualified for not engageing or running out from the stick. this year, five years later, more than half the dogs were disquaified for not engageing or running out from under the stick. Of those that did engage most had to be handed the sleeve to bite. Only 1 male and 1 female were able to properly heel off leash,
At this rate where will we be in another five years? Something needs to be done now or the rules will have to be changed so that the Showline dogs do not have to do bite work to be bred, and we can't just worry about the males, bitches need to be strong as well. |

| 188 | Uwe Doose | USA#005561 - As a trainer/breeder/owner of both show and working Shepherds I believe we need to raise the bar in both Show and Work. With the work we now have the prancy dancy focused ball dog and the Show we have the biggest problem - weak temperament.
There are many show dogs that have strong nerves, good temperament and courage and it is those dogs that we need to breed to, not the ones barely hanging on with one canine during the performance test, but made high placing in the ring.
Not raising the bar or at the very least enforcing the SS rules that we already have will only be a diservice to the future of the breed. |
| 189 | Paul W. Blackburn Jr. | None of these dogs are worthy to hold the title of a SCH1. There is no controll what so ever nor do I feel that there is any compliance in regards to the rules governing a trial. Rules are set in place for a reason and everyone should abide by them. |

Przbyslski should have been removed from being a judge years ago. He is part of the reason USA is loosing members and respect.
