UPDATE...

I spoke with the planning commission today 5/7/2007 and they informed me that the 51st street street closing has been postponed indefinitely. If they choose to bring it up again in the future we will be notified just as before. Edna’s truly appreciates all of your efforts to make this happen.

Sincere Thanks,

Tammy

PETITION TO STOP STREET CLOSURE

City of Oklahoma City
Planning Commission
City Council

As a concerned citizen I stand with area business owners and strongly oppose the street closure at N.W. 51st street and Interstate 44 ramp. Case number CE-704. The closing of this street would be greatly detrimental to the income and longevity of all area businesses, as it would present limited access to and from these businesses. N.W. 51st street is a main thoroughfare for this area and closing it would force traffic to flow into neighborhood housing editions on the east side of Classen Circle.
