Stop Signs In Quonny

The petition

In an effort to increase safety for pedestrians and bicyclists and to slow traffic to the posted speed limit of 25 mph on East Beach Road and West Beach Road, the undersigned requests that the Town of Charlestown install stop signs on East Beach Road at the intersections of Moulton Place, Overlook Avenue, and Burdick Street, and on West Beach Road at the intersection of Sunset Dr and Sea Breeze Ave. We believe these stop signs will help reduce the dangerous year-round speeding problem that poses a significant safety threat to our community.
