To: The United Nations
Imagine a world where people from different parts of the world can understand in each other with a common second language.
This was Zamenhof's dream. In 1887 he wrote a book detailing the rules of the international language Esperanto.
Esperanto is the easiest language to learn. An estimated 2 million people around the world speak it. In today's world, many languages are becoming extinct and Esperanto will help to preserve those languages.
Esperanto will save translation costs. Esperanto will cut down languages barriers between nations.
An international language will be a major step to world peace.
Thus, we ask you, the United Nations, to approve Esperanto as the international language and to finally make the dream of international understanding, a reality.

Tiu estis la revo de Zamenhof. Je 1887 li skribis la reguloj de La Internacia Lingvo, Esperanto.

À l'atttention de l'Organisation des Nations Unies
Imaginez un monde où les gens de ses différentes régions pourraient se comprendre les uns les autres par le biais d'une langue seconde commune.
C'était là le rêve de Zamenhof. En 1887, écrivit livre dans lequel il exposait les règles de la langue internationale.
L'espéranto est la langue la plus facile à apprendre. On évalue à 2 millions le nombre de gens dans le monde qui la parlent. Dans le monde actuel, de nombreuses langues sont menacées d'extinction et l'utilisation de l'espéranto contribuera à préserver les langues en question..
L'utilisation de l'espéranto permettra l'économie de frais de traduction. L'espéranto fera tomber les barrières linguistiques entre les nations. L'emploi d'une langue internationale constituera un jalon important dans l'instauration de la paix mondiale..
C'est pourquoi, je demande aux Nations unies de se prononcer en faveur de l'espéranto comme la langue internationale et de faire enfin, du rêve de Zamenhof, une réalité.
