| 24 | Jenn Inashvili | This Starbucks has been a great meeting place in our community. I do my work in there all the time, and I see all types of people enjoying coffee and each other's company at this location. I would be very disappointed to see it go. Please reconsider and save East Aurora's Starbucks. |

| 26 | Cory Loudenslager | Dear Starbucks - It was such a hassle for our little town to get this Starbucks. I waited patiently for its approval and now come everyday. I do not drink coffee so Starbucks is my only option in this town for chai given that we also have McDonald's, Dunkin Donuts, Tim Horton's, Great Harvest Bread Co., and a mom & pop shop, Taste Coffee. I have come to know all the baristas and enjoy coming every morning on the way to work. My dog and I walk here on weekends and hang out on the patio - the dog gets biscuits and has a water bowl here too. We are a very friendly community. Given the gas prices, there just is no other Starbucks worth going to as all others are about 15-20 minutes away. I'm told by the manager that the business is growing; it just opened. Please give it a chance. I am by no means a business-minded person, but perhaps there are other ways to cut costs to save this Starbucks: (1) in towns where there are more than 1 store, close one or more there; (2) cut back on pensions and/or benefits of employees until times get better - I would think that the employees would rather have a job than none at all; (3) close stores in towns which really can't afford to buy your product anyhow - podunk blue collar towns (Williamsport, PA and Jamestown, NY come to mind as examples).
Thank you for your consideration. |
| 27 | Hanford Searl Jr. | ... As a print journalist of 35+ yrs. in the mainstream & gay media on both coasts, (17 with "Billboard Magazine" in L.A., Vegas & the Bflo./Rochester markets), I've been quite impressed with our Starbucks here in E. Aurora!
- A non-coffee drinker, I enjoy your tea selections & non-sugar/low-fat treats. The E. A staff is ALWAYS courteous-&-friendly. +, they've put-up concert posters for the Bflo. Gay Mens Chorus, where I sing T1!?!
... & I visited your headquarters-in-Seattle during our Westminster Presbyterian Church choir tour-in-'06. When I served a Mormon (before they excommunicated me for being gay after 16-yrs.!)mission in the Pacific/Northwest '70-'72, I lived in W. Seattle, Mercer Island-&-Bellevue! Loved-the-area!
- So PLEASE allow us to KEEP our Starbucks!?! Especially since so MANY of our local, cranky Republicans, really didn't want your company here! WE DO!!! |
| 28 | Shannon | Keep the starbuck's please! =) |
| 29 | Dr. William D. Klaus | ... As a weekly Starbucks customer, I'm writing to support keeping our E. Aurora store open. I enjoy the great coffee-&-tasty treats on my way to Mormon Church services every Sunday!
- The staff is always helpful, especially since I'm legally blind & have no peripheral vision. We always pick-up a copy of the NY Times too. The outdoor patio also-is-attractive & inviting!
... I'm a retired h.s. teacher of 30+ yrs. & know I speak for many other fellow workers, who enjoy this Starbucks. Thank-you for your time! |
