When one looks forward to the tailgating as opposed to the actual game, you know your program is in trouble (with a capital "T"). The SC losses are bad enough, but not being a real factor in the Rose Bowl race, year in and year out SUCKS!! Last year was a fluke, and the 10 win season didn't mean a damn thing cause everyone knew that we'd get killed by SC. His style of play is so boring, I'd rather watch a game coached by former coach Fat Bob than this loser!! | 725 | The 10-2 record of 2005 was a fluke made possible by too many improbable comebacks against lesser teams. Dorrell has done nothing for the program from an on-the-field perspective. The offense is predictable at best and the team does not improve from the start of the season to the end. they still make mistakes that they should not be making. Also, when a team comes out as ill-prepared as the Bruins seems to be virtually every week, that is not the players, that is the coaches. How many times can Dorrell overhaul his coaching staff before the AD realizes it is the Head Coach???? |
| 726 | My father is a UCLA alumni. My best friend graduated from UCLA. I took classes at UCLA and was born and raised 2 blocks from UCLA. I met John Wooden a couple of times as a youth. I have seen a lot of coaches at UCLA and Karl Dorrell is the worst coach ever. He is the worst coach, teacher, motivator and recruiter in UCLA history. Time to fire him and get a real coach. |

I'm not sure that Karl has a heartbeat nor that he cares much about what is happening to this football program. Sadly, he is the reason that I am overjoyed that basketball (one thing UCLA does do well) season is here.
